Welcome to Sweetwater Yarns

Hello and welcome to my store! I'm Terri Stroman, the proud owner of Sweetwater Yarns, Southern Nevada's only mobile yarn store, now with a satellite store booth at Paradise Valley Antique Mall. I'm so glad you stopped in today for yarn or other crafting needs! 

I started Sweetwater Yarns in August of 2019 because there was a need for an easily accessible yarn store in the Las Vegas Valley. To put it simply, I bring yarn, notions (scissors, tape measures, stitch holders, needle size gauges,  and handmade tools), and other items to various locations. Sometimes you'll see me at the local craft fairs in the area.

I would also like to make it possible for you to host your friends and family at your home for fun projects and a good time! I can bring some yarns and tools and everyone can enjoy some crafting and chatting time together.

Sweetwater Yarns came about after my husband, also an avid knitter, and I visited the local and out-of-town yarn stores when traveling for his work or visiting family. During the times spent with other knitters and crocheters, we discovered how far most had to travel to get yarn and other supplies. I understood their frustration - the closest store to me was 40 minutes away!

That's where the idea of a mobile yarn shop blossomed. Not one that's out of reach to customers, but one that welcomes all. 

And here we are, four years later!! 

Currently, all products are available to purchase online (or in-person if you happen to stop by the satellite shop or catch me at a craft fair show).
