Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton Yarn is a worsted weight yarn, 100% mercerized Cotton, 186 yards, machine wash and dry.
This color is orchid. A bright light purple hue. (The photo is showing as more pink) The ability to machine wash and dry makes this ideal for most projects.
Mercerized cotton is a cotton fiber that has been treated to make it stronger, and more receptive to dyes making a richer color. The process creates a smooth, luminous yarn that is easy to care for. The mercerization process does cause a minor sacrifice in softness and drape, however washing and wearing will soften it up.
Machine wash warm, dry on medium heat. Do not use bleach.
