Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton Yarn is a worsted weight yarn, 100% mercerized Cotton, 186 yards, machine wash and dry.
This color is Navy, a dark blue. A nice darker blue shade that pairs well with many other colors. The ability to machine wash and dry makes this ideal for most projects.
Mercerized cotton is a cotton fiber that has been treated to make it stronger, and more receptive to dyes making a richer color. The process creates a smooth, luminous yarn that is easy to care for. The mercerization process does cause a minor sacrifice in softness and drape, however washing and wearing will soften it up.
